Juave is a master craftsman at working with raw elements like wood and metal. His new Shimmer Series are carved and finished with precious gold, each reflecting a natural abstraction of daily experience in three dimensions. Originals are carved from timber, and editions are cast in a particle plaster. His work is highly sought, and time-intensive to produce, such that his queue for new pieces is currently several months.

Unlike many who would embrace the title of "artist," Juave prefers to be known as an artisan, or craftsman.  In fact, Juave is a pseudonym for the sake of preserving his anonymity. Both facts speak volumes about his humility and dedication to craft. In the end, perhaps it is not for Juave to decide, but for each viewer to marvel at that which emerges from Juave's hands.
